Nathan graduated from the Reeves School of Business at Methodist University and has been an agent with NC Farm Bureau since 2016. His first career was professional golf and afterward was a financial advisor before pivoting to insurance. He and his wife Andrea have a son, Miles, and a bulldog, Mildred.
