I began my career as a North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Agent in 2012, with a mission to assist the citizens of Davidson County and surrounding area with their insurance needs, and helping them protect the things that matter most.

I taught high school for 30+ years, coached for 40 years in the sports of football, wrestling, baseball, softball and track, and served as Athletic Director for 3 years. I was inducted into the National Hall of Fame and Davidson County Hall of Fame as a Wrestling Coach. I have been married to my beautiful wife for over 45 years. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
