Mooresville is located in the Southern part of Iredell County.  The town is nicknamed “Race City USA” due to the race teams located in our area. We are also known for “Lake Norman” which is the largest man-made lake.  Lake Norman is 34 miles long with 520 miles of shoreline and was created by Duke Energy in 1963.   We have experienced unbelievable growth over the last 20 years.  We have a great school system, shopping, good weather year round  and just a wonderful place to live.
